Chakra Spin: a Movement Meditation
Thursday, November 7th, 6:30pm (75 min) - New Albany Session
Chakra Spin is a movement meditation where we explore somatic processing through the rhythms and sensations of the body. We use movement to first move energy up and out and then drop down and inward into the body, activating the energy of our central channel to encourage balance within our chakra system.
This signature approach begins with the captivating rhythms of contemporary music, guiding us into an intuitive dance session that allows us to channel and release our energy while fully embracing the expressive essence of our being. I invite you to feel the rhythm and let it move through you as you liberate any stagnant energy, freeing yourself from the stresses and tensions of daily life.
But that's just the beginning.
After an invigorating dance experience, we introduce the art of Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM), a guided method designed to take you on a journey of self-discovery. We will explore organic movement, and embrace fluidity as you tap into the unique pathways of your being. We will then end with a lengthy rest period to integrate the shifts you have created for yourself.
In this practice, we will step out of the mind and listen deeply to our body. We can enhance our ability to be more present with our experiences and cultivate deeper understanding and insight.
Chakra Spin is a celebration of femininity, self-expression, and self-discovery. It offers a safe and inclusive space for women of all backgrounds to embrace their bodies, unleash their unique expression, and reconnect with their inner power.
No experience is necessary, come as you are.
